    Five Days of Fitness –TakeCare members participate in the various 5 Days of Fitness classes such as Zumba and Yoga classes offered to all TakeCare members as part of their member benefits package.

    Five Days of Fitness – “Zumba Kids: Our Zumba Kids class is open to children and teenagers ages 5-17. The class incorporates cardiovascular exercises meant to energize your child(ren) in a fun and safe setting.

    Annual Cinco de Mayo Zumba Party – Every year, TakeCare Wellness hosts a Cinco de Mayo Zumba Party where TakeCare members sweat and dance their way to fitness during the one and a half hour workout.

    Annual Halloween Bash Zumba Party – TakeCare, along with the American Cancer Society - Guam Chapter or the Guam Cancer Care holds an Annual Halloween Bash Zumba Party. Each year, over 200 Zumba fanatics dress in costumes and have a wonderful time in high-energy music and fantastic prizes, all for a great cause.

    Cardiac Risk Management Class
    TakeCare members attend the Cardiac Risk Management Class to learn how to prevent the onset and progression of heart and vascular disease. The class assists our members in making healthier lifestyle changes through education, fitness and nutrition counseling.

    Wellness Workshop
    TakeCare members complete the Wellness Workshop Class, which is designed to improve their knowledge and understanding of their conditions through plant based nutrition education. Dr. Edwin Supit, an FHP provider who specializes in disease management facilitated the class. This class is offered FREE to TakeCare Members.

    Children’s Health Improvement Program (CHIP)
    The CHIP program is geared towards the prevention of obesity in children ages 7-15 years old. This class includes a food preparation course and offers a variety of fun and kid-friendly exercises taught by certified fitness instructors.

    Nutrition Counseling
    Our Nutrition Specialist, Donabel Little, takes a member’s blood pressure at the FHP Health Center. Donabel helps our members to master one of the most important prerequisites for good health: a balanced diet. She guides our members and patients toward their goals by developing a plan that promotes healthy eating while taking into account each person’s unique health status and lifestyle.
