October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Remember to honor the courage of survivors and those we have lost. According to the Pacific Regional Central Cancer Registry 2007 to 2022 report, breast cancer was the most common adult invasive cancer across the U.S. Pacific and remains the second most diagnosed cancer on Guam. Mothers, daughters, sisters, and friends’ lives and families have been forever changed. With early detection and treatment, lives can be saved.

Screening and mammograms remain one of the most powerful gifts of health and hope.
