Dr. Liu joins FHP Health Center
Dr. Pei-Chang Liu recently joined FHP Health Center.
Dr. Liu recently served as an intensivist and hospitalist at Guam Regional Medical City, where his dedication to critical patient care positively impacted numerous lives. He also held the position of Chief Medical Officer at Gleneagles Chengdu Hospital in China. Liu’s extensive experience in these roles has made him a trusted medical expert in the field.
He completed his Critical Care Fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Needham, specializing in academic critical care. Additionally, his training includes a Geriatric Medicine Fellowship at Harvard and an Internal Medicine Residency at Yale, emphasizing his dedication to various aspects of healthcare.
Liu earned a Master of Biotechnology Enterprise & Entrepreneurship from Johns Hopkins, where he developed skills in translating medical advancements into practical solutions for patients.
His academics also includes a Master of Public Health from Harvard and a Doctorate of Medicine from National Taiwan University.
Liu is certified by the American Board of Geriatric Medicine, the American Board of Internal Medicine, and the American Board of Hospital Medicine. His licenses extend internationally, including Guam, Massachusetts, and various locations in China and Taiwan.
His honors and awards include: Best Teacher Award, United Family Hospital (2014) Best Instructor, K.F. SYS. Cancer Center (2014) Presidential Award, National Taiwan University (1998, 1999, 2001, 2002).
Liu’s professional membership includes: American Medical Association, American College of Physician Society of Hospital Medicine, Society of Critical Care Medicine, American Geriatric Society, Massachusetts Medical Society, Guam Medical Association, Taiwan Medical Association, Taipei Medical Association, and the Taiwan Public Health Association.
