Dr. Miranda joins FHP Health Center 

Dr. Gabriel C. Miranda, Jr, M.D., M.S. recently joined FHP Health Center.

Dr. Miranda hails from a family of healthcare professionals and completed his Family Medicine Residency at Kaiser Permanente Orange County (KPOC) in Santa Ana, California, where he served as a Resident Physician, achieving the level of PGY-3. He assumed the role of Administrative Chief Resident from 2022 to 2023.

He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at Tulane University School of Medicine. Additionally, he earned a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Tufts University School of Medicine, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics with a Pre-Health concentration from the College of the Holy Cross.

At Kaiser Permanente Orange County Urgent Care, he evaluated and provided medical care to a diverse and complex patient population. His skills encompassed a range of medical procedures, from laceration repairs to incision and drainage. He also demonstrated his ability to triage, manage patients and provide necessary escalation of care when needed.

He holds a California Physician and Surgeon A License, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation.  Dr. Miranda is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
