Dr. Nancy Ann Lentz brings inpatient, intensive care, and outpatient experience to FHP Health Center, where she cares for Guam's civilian and military community.
Dr. Lentz earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biophysics cum laude from The Johns Hopkins University, then her Doctor of Medicine cum laude from the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Duke University Medical Center.
Dr. Lentz was honored with the Theodore E. Woodward Prize in Internal Medicine, the Sheldon E. Greisman Prize in Medical Physiology, the Rubin Scholarship for Women, and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha, medicine's most prestigious honor society.
Her achievements reach beyond academics. A standout collegiate lacrosse player, Dr. Lentz was named Maryland's NCAA Woman of the Year in 1994 and earned GTE Academic All-America First Team honors — recognition that speaks to her rare blend of athletic and scholarly excellence. In 2019, the Guam Legislature honored her contributions to the island with Resolution 182-35.
Her work extends beyond the clinic. A Commander in the United States Navy Reserve, she has served through the Navy Reserve Center Guam. She holds the position of Treasurer with the Guam Medical Society.
