October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month
On Friday, October 11, Acting Governor Joshua Tenorio signed a proclamation designating October Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
On the Governor’s Facebook page: “Many lives have been saved through early detection, regular checkups, and increased awareness through educational outreach. This October, as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our Administration stands with breast cancer survivors and their families, honors those we’ve lost, and recognizes the advocates, researchers, and healthcare providers dedicated to making breast cancer a priority and supporting those battling the disease.”
