Many consider reducing total fat consumption when trying to reach their weight goals. However, we need to consume fat as they provide essential fatty acids that allow us to absorb fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K. Therefore, it would be best to consider the type of dietary fat consumed rather than attempting to cut them out completely.
