Drinking and drugged driving is a behavior that endangers lives and increases the insurance costs to drivers everywhere around the world. This article is intended to inform and reduce influences among Guam drivers that directly contribute to car accidents and death-related fatalities when a person is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The national data is sobering. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) drivers under the influence of alcohol are 17.8% more likely to be responsible for a car accident.
