2025 Postal Service Health Benefits (PSHB) Program

This year, the annual PSHB Open Season will run from November 11- December 9, 2024. Now is a great time to learn more about TakeCare’s 2025 PSHB offering.

If you have questions about which TakeCare medical plan might be right for you, answering the following can help you choose a plan that might be the best fit.

Auto-Enrollment

You should have received a letter from USPS prior to Open Season that provides information regarding the PSHB plan you’ll automatically be enrolled in for 2025, based on your current FEHB enrollment. If you are currently enrolled in a FEHB plan not participating in PSHB for 2025, you will be automatically enrolled in the PSHB nationwide plan option called Blue Cross Blue Shield Service Benefit Plan FEP Blue Focus beginning January 1, 2025.

You can make changes to your plan enrollment during the PSHB Open Season. Enrollees are encouraged to review all available plans to choose a plan that best fits their needs. If you don’t make any changes, your PSHB coverage for 2025 will be with the plan in which you were automatically enrolled.

TakeCare’s In-Person Briefings/ Activities

  •  Postal Facility Briefings - check with facility management or postmaster for the date(s) cheduled for your onsite agency briefing

 

Virtual Live Briefings

Get your TakeCare-specific questions answered through conveniently scheduled virtual presentation sessions throughout the open enrollment period.

Attend any of the sessions to be conducted via Microsoft Teams every Thursday at 6:00pm-7:00pm ChST, beginning Nov 14 through Dec 5 (except for Thanksgiving, Nov 28).

 

Health Fairs

TakeCare will be hosting two health fairs during Open Season, the first on November 9, the second on November 30. Both will be held at the Micronesia Mall, Ground Floor Concourse 3 from 11am – 5pm. A PSHB Information Table will be available to you at these health fairs.

Our customer service offices are open in Tamuning and Garapan. For your safety and convenience, in-person visits by appointment is the preference but walk-ins are welcome.

During open season, hours of operation are 8am to 5pm, Mondays – Fridays. The first hour (8am-9am) being reserved for manamko’ and those persons with disabilities.

TakeCare’s 2025 PSHB High Option rates are 6% lower than its 2024 FEHB High Option rates, Standard Option rates are 11% lower, and HDHP Option rates are 10% lower!
